I had to buy a camera that is impervious to things like water to remove the temptation to put my phone in yet another precarious position in which it will inevitably be overcome. as such may i present my friends drinking in a pool.

Dear tumblr, I’m sorry I’ve been a bad friend! Weeks and weeks ago I covered a pretty lady inmarshmallow fluffand I didn’t share the pictures here! BEHOLD, a wacky composite of fun things I do!
Starring Rachie Tartz as the thing that ate candyland!
Meanwhile, Kelly Meissner is working on making my website a useful thing, so I’ll probably post the whole little set there!

Have I yet mentioned I’m obsessed with the afternoon light in my bedroom window? I am. It’s amazing. It bounces off the house next door so it’s soft and lush and perfect. I’m shooting tomorrow, so in the process of getting my things together I wanted to take a couple pictures of some things I’ve been sewing all week. My neighbors must think I’m crazy, preening and photographing myself in front of this window over and over and over, but whatever. Couple what was supposed to be pictures of a tshirt with a double exposure app for the iPhone, and yo dawg I heard you like your face, so I put your face on your face… You get the point.

It’s silly self-portrait day, for when you feel like taking pictures but don’t have a model at the ready. Also the afternoon light in my bedroom is to die for, and it turns out i can rig a laundry basket to hold a reflector. WIN.
